5th Annual Lose the Training Wheels Event - Aug. 6th-10th, 2012
Our Annual Lose the Training Wheels program will be held again this year August 6th-10th, 2012 at the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness (28 Westhampton Way in University of Richmond, VA 23173).
Lose the Training Wheels is an amazing program that teaches children with disabilities how to ride a conventional two-wheeled bicycle. The children experience a freedom and confidence that was previously unavailable to them due to their specific condition.
The Richmond Hope Foundation staff and volunteers actively participate, working strenuously to achieve the goal of teaching the children how to ride a bike. This program is sponsored by the Richmond Hope Foundation, to give back and help local children in the Richmond community.
Thanks to our AMAZING Volunteers and our LTTW Partners! This year we helped 31 children learn how to ride a bike, yeah!

We held the 1st Annual Wellesley 5K on May 21st: and raised $4,348.27 for LTTW. Over 150 participants ran the 5K on a beautiful Saturday morning.

5th Annual Richmond Hope Foundation Golf Tournament will be held April 27, 2012
Come join us for the Special Veterans Day Golf Tournament on Friday November 11th at Hunting Hawk Golf Club.
With a 11:11am registration and a 12:30pm shot gun start, free range balls, snacks, cold beverages, goodie bags, dinner, awards and more, this year’s event is shaping up to be amazing.
